One of our most popular brooches because of the popularity of the turtle as
an animal throughout the world. this brooch was originally designed for a
plain cabochon stone, but it was noticed that the opal mosaic stones
approximated the look of a turtles back. The idea caught on, and since their
inception, opalmine has sold probably 50,000 of these brooches. The turtle
