This parcel weighs 26 grams. Largest piece is 32x26mm. It is a nice selection of stones from three fields. The Chrystal Opal shell is from Coober Pedy. The Boulder opal is from the Queensland opal fields. The rest are dark and black opals from the Lightning Ridge Opal fields in western NSW, specifically from the Grawin area. Estimated completed value of this parcel is at least $2,500. The shell alone could be sold for $1000 if you find the right collector. The price for this parcel is a bargain and will give the cutter some experience in handling more than one type of opal.
