Very dark, deep blue boulder opal from Winton Queensland. Stones like this are totally unique with very original patterns and shapes. They are really a designers dream because they inspire pictures and shapes that other stones do not.This gorgeous set of matching blue stones has a glint of green as the stones are turned. The price of Opal, unlike many gemstones is influenced by supply and demand, not by international cartels who agree on price increases. Hence, opal is destined to go up in value as the supply becomes more restricted which is happening at present.
